Sketch Level 1: Sketch Basics

Students are introduced to the basics of what makes a sketch comedy scene, how to generate and execute their own ideas, and how to sharpen their writing for greater comic effect. Each week students will be responsible for writing and submitting one short sketch, which will then be discussed and developed in class.  After eight weeks, a selection of student sketches will be performed by local actors on our stage.

  • Time: 7:00pm to 10:00pm
  • Class size is limited to 10 students
  • Minimum to run is 5
  • Ages 16 and up
  • No experience necessary
